Our services
ON THE AIR is a production company specialized in drone capture, led by pilots certified for advanced operations by Transport Canada. We also shoot on the ground, photograph, edit and colour grade: showcasing a property, documenting a corporate event, capturing the energy of a live show — you leave with a film ready to publish.
HDR aerial photos, drone video and 360° virtual tours to showcase your properties. Built for brokers in Montreal, Laval and across Quebec.
Company video, conference, product launch: 5.1K capture with optional live streaming to support your brand.
Festivals, live shows, circus and performing arts. Dynamic shots that do justice to the craft and emotion of every performance.
Competitions, races and outdoor events. Flight paths designed to follow the action and give the scale of the course.
Shooting is only half the work. Editing, colour grading, graphics and subtitles: you leave with a film ready to publish, not a folder of rushes to have cut somewhere else.

Our team
ON THE AIR is a creative, versatile team led by Benoit De Vaux. That double expertise makes all the difference at festivals, live shows and event shoots.
What our clients say
I wanted a visual inspection of my building's roof without the risk of climbing up. I called On The Air and Mr. Benoît De Vaux came with his drone. I got clear, precise images, and while discussing my plan to sell, he suggested a promotional video to help the sale along. I was impressed by the images and by Mr. De Vaux's professionalism. Thank you On The Air!
Excellent service. Fast and professional, On the Air will not disappoint. I highly recommend them.
Excellent service, the photos and videos were outstanding. I highly recommend them. Thank you Mr. Devaux.
FAQ
The price depends on how long the shoot runs, the location, the regulatory requirements (urban area, crowd, nearby airport) and the editing you want. Every project is quoted individually after a first conversation.
Depending on the location and type of event, a shoot may require specific authorization from Transport Canada. ON THE AIR handles that process for every project — the client has nothing to manage on that side.
It varies with the complexity of the file, from a few weeks to about two months. We recommend confirming a shoot in restricted airspace at least 4 to 6 weeks ahead.
Yes, under certain conditions. A certified drone under 250 g can fly closer to the public than standard models, always within Transport Canada rules. ON THE AIR matches the aircraft to the event and handles the regulatory steps.
A drone under 250 g follows lighter rules and can sometimes fly closer to people. A standard drone gives better image quality and stability, but is more strictly regulated around an audience. We pick the aircraft based on the setting and the venue requirements.

Either. You can receive the raw files as shot, or an edit with colour grading. The choice is settled at the quote stage, based on how you plan to use the images.
Yes, we shoot year-round. Cold and snow are not an obstacle: only wind, precipitation or visibility can push a flight to another day, for safety as much as for image quality.
Yes, our drone operations are covered by insurance. Venue managers and event organizers often require it: ask us for the details when you request a quote.
